General Lending Rules For Students:

1. Students must produce their own Library Borrow card when borrowing the books. 

2. Students are held responsible for all materials borrowed to their own cards.

3. Students will be held responsible for any duplication of borrowing cards found for library materials when returned. They must check and report for any duplication found at the time of issuing the book. If found students will be charged for Rs.500/-.

4. Students must report if they loss of library materials immediately to the Circulation Section of the Library and they must pay the compensation for the lost book. If students fail to report, all the facilities given to the students shall be suspended

5. If any book not returned in response to a final overdue notice it will be considered as lost and the member would be asked to pay compensation for the lost book.

6. Fines will be calculated, according to the Rates of Fines, from the due date and the amount should be paid at the library.

7. Students must ensure that the books issued to them are returned or renewed on or before the due date.

8.Notices sent by the Library should be taken seriously by the students. And non-receipt of the notices does not absolve any student from paying fines or other penalties.

9. Each UG students allowed to borrow one book for seven days only. And PG students allowed to borrow 2 books at time for 7days only. In case the members fail to return the borrowed books on or within the due date shall be liable to pay overdue charges at the rate of Rs. 1.00 per day on the spot. The privileges given to the students shall be suspended if overdue materials are not returned

11. If Students repeatedly fail to return documents on due date consecutively on five occasions may loss the privilege of the membership of the library. They will also not be allowed to borrow the books

General Lending Rules For Staff:

1. Teaching Staff allow to borrow 10 books at a time on their on membership account. Non-Teaching Staff allow to borrow 3 books at a time. 

2.Staff must be ensure to return books or reading documents to the library time to time.

3.It is compulsory for  the teaching and Non-Teaching Staff to submit all the books held on their account before the completion of particular academic year.  In case the members fail to return the borrowed books on or within the due date shall be liable to pay overdue charges at the rate of Rs. 1.00 per day from the date of borrowing.

Rules of Library Use

1.Keep Silence

2. Keep your mobile phones switched off.

3.Keep your chappals/shoes (footwear) outside the reading hall.

4.Do not sit in the Reading hall unnecessarily.

5.I-Card is Compulsory.

6.Every visitor has to sign in the Visitor's book.

7.Smoking and Spitting is strictly prohibited.

8.Do not bring any eatable in the reading hall.

9.Keep the chair on place.

10.Switch off the lights and fans at the time of your departure.

11.The student who will not follow these rules will be fined.

12.Misbehaviour in the Library will be punished or penalized as per college authority, it will lead to the cancellation of library membership.

13.Library books must be handle carefully.

14.Library use allowed only for the admitted students and the students with valid reasons. Ex-students and outsiders without permissions are not allowed to use library
